I do the research on the behavious of the Media People and try to construct the special living space which contains the features of their requirement. So this project is consisted of two parts, the research part and the design part.

Firstly, I use the methods of questionnaires and interviews to do the research on the Media People. I divide those people into three catogories, pelple from the paper media(such as magzins,newspapers and so on); people from the radio and television and people working for the internet. After that, I do a 24-hour research on their behavious. There for I get the idea of their special working schedules and the features of their requirements for different space.

Secondly, based on the previous research, I start to do the design part. I divide this area into five blocks and every block is a small media city which has these five features(multiple, ecological, dynamic, ideal and amity) which have concluded from the previous research.

The first feature is Multiple. Multiple means multifunctional utilisation of the area. It functions as working area, residential area, comercial area, media garden and so on.

The second feature is Ecological. I design a media garden in every block. It is significant for people to feel the nature and comunicate with each other. After that, I also design a ring road around the media garden. People who live in these blocks can walk or ride bicycles on the ring roads. And also, they can get to the destinations in 5 minutes because of the moderate dimension.

The third feature is Dynamic. I furnish this area with 'dynamic logoes'. Media people are busy with their work, so that they often forget to relax themselves. The 'dynamic logoes' such as the club and the gym which occupy small area but can relax them after work.

The fourth feature is Ideal. Ideal means 'idea houses' such as the library and the culture gallery. Media people often write and report the latest news, so that I use these 'ideal houses' to inspire their creativity on their work.

The last feature is the Amity. I want to creat harmonious living atmosphere and friendly interpersonal relations. In addition, the correlations among all these five media blocks are constructed by the road network.

Finally, the first letters of these five features make up the word 'MEDIA', so that I call this project 'MEDIA CITY'.

On the architecture style, I try to preserve the local yard type architecture. I renovate some ancient architectures with qualified safety standared and replace some bygone buildings which are not safe for people to live with modern style buildings. I try to combine the modern style buildings with the ancient ones with 'Beijing Hutong-style'.

In addition, this graduation project was published on the book which was called 'History and Future-the sustainable development of old south area of Beijing'(ISBN 978-7-112-13635-3).

要从大嘴发的那条微博开始说起。

大嘴：
又是一年泡桐花香柳絮纷飞时，顿时让我想起了去年的苏州，物是人非的感觉。当年的盆友你们还好么？
芒果：
去年这时候中期答辩刚结束吧。苏州现在也在飞柳絮，听说我们做设计沙龙的那家平江园布局和饮品都已经变了样。有些东西是回不去的，就那个当下最美好。
大嘴：
这个时候还没中期呐，是这周四我们从北京去的苏州，周五答辩。因为我正好复试完就出发，周六早上去了苏博和平江路。

以前的自己也特别的喜欢回望过去，后来渐渐明白即使回去曾经的那个地方，那时的人也都不在了。
可能是天生的喜欢怀旧，总会觉得过去的才是美好。
但其实自己忽略了那时为了得到美好而付出的努力。
比如没日没夜的熬夜画图或者做ppt，比如当上校会主席之前做出的成绩，等等等等。
所以现在回忆起来，都是那时的朋友以及一点一滴。

近来倒是也想通了。
节制的回望才是最好，总是回头，大概脖子都会被扭断。
从来不觉得回不去的才是青春，因为现在的我们也算是在青春的路上。
可以结识新的朋友，确立新的目标，再谱写新的青春。

年轻，对我们而言，已经足够好。

真正的小资其实是老资，是靠岁月和磨练堆积出来的。
年轻的所谓小资，只是不得其意的追捧，是小有钱就显摆的虚荣。
前些天凭印象记下了这句电视剧里的台词，只觉说得特别好。

印象里，在这座城只去过两次STARBUCKS。
一次同朋友看电影怕犯困顺路打包了两杯焦糖玛奇朵，
一次朋友约在那里见面点了杯拿铁等候。
再之就是这一次了。
其实一点不爱这里，或许因为已有先入为主的老树。

还记得花城的老树咖啡么，
虽然它已经不在了。
